Each of the 27 Sections is expected to send a minimum of one voting representative to participate.<\/p>\n<p>These Region 5 members assemble as a Committee to serve and support activities for more than <em>23,000 IEEE Members<\/em>, and over <em>3,600 IEEE Student Members<\/em> located within our geographic boundaries. The IEEE Region 5 Committee is composed of the Region 5 Officers, Executive Committee Program Chairs, and the 27 IEEE Section Chairs. The IEEE Region 5 Committee also supports student activities and services of more than 90 Student Branches, including Eta Kappa Nu Chapters.<\/p>\n<p>This Committee meets once a year to conduct business for the region.
