The Cyber Challenge will be within traditional capture the flag (CTF) fashion. It is composed of a series of jeopardy-style questions, testing participants in a variety of CS proficiencies.<\/span><\/p>\n The Challenge will be limited to two hours, with questions ranging from common knowledge to problems defining teams as emerging experts in cybersecurity. This is a hands-on, interactive competition.<\/p>\n All teams registered will receive an email confirming registration. Problems will not be released before competition date and time. The link to competition will be released in the room for the event.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> IEEE Undergraduate Students, with a current IEEE membership, at universities throughout IEEE Region 5 are invited to compete. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n The teams must submit their Intent to Compete form<\/a><\/u><\/b> by the deadline to be eligible to compete.<\/p>\n Teams are selected from the submitted pool on a first come first served basis. Selected teams will be notified to register for the R5 conference and participate in the competition. Team substitutions are at the discretion of the competition chair.<\/p>\n The first team from each school to submit an Intent to Compete form will be given preference and subsequent teams submitting an Intent to Compete form from that school will be waitlisted.<\/i><\/p>\n If after submitting your team\u2019s Intent to Compete, your team decides it will not be able to compete, please inform the Competition\u2019s Chair as soon as possible so that the next waitlisted team can be accepted into the competition.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n The contest will begin at 10:00 am on the event day and go on until 3:00 pm, with a working lunch.
